About Us
What Makes Us Different?

Here in Swayam Learning we believe solving complex mathematical problems can be fun once rigorous concepts are explained in simple terms with practical examples.  We value individualized attention to maximize learning. Holding classes in small groups (2-10 students per group) creates an environment where students feel comfortable and ask questions until a concept is clear in their mind.

We strongly value one-to-one attention to students, providing personal instruction while maintaining a collaborative, interactive, challenging atmosphere of learning. We do not like students who are with us, ready to learn and apply themselves, to fall through the cracks. Our small workshops thus ensure that no student misses in-class attention and the right to learn.

Our workshops are interactive and intensive, focusing on active participation, collaboration and application. Meaningful learning is achieved through the demonstration of problem-solving and explanation. Thus, we aim to build confidence, reduce math anxiety and make learning mathematics enjoyable.

Our workshops are customizable, meant to address the needs of students as well as accelerating their skills, using critical thinking and solutions-based application to at least three grades higher than their current level.

Our sessions are designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students; we also have advanced level workshops for those who are trying to get a head start on their Freshman Mathematics. These sessions are meant for continuous, accelerated, and advanced training of mathematical concepts that build upon each other through the course of the year.

Books are selected based on levels and needs and reimbursed accordingly.

Homework is assigned but can be adjusted to students’ workload at school.

Naturally, the point is to accelerate and advance, so serious commitment is needed.

Each intensive, private session is approximately 2 hours long, meeting on a weekly basis.

Sessions run continuously and are on set-term and scheduled basis.

Sessions can begin at the start of season- Fall Semester, Winter Semester, Spring Semester.

Sessions are scheduled to begin September, January, and May and sessions fill up quickly. In fact, we take students' learning very seriously; therefore, to prevent disconnected, fruitless re-cap, and interrupted learning, once a session has begun, it is considered closed to new admissions from the 2nd week onward.

If you hear about us though, do write to us and we will be glad to schedule you in, include you in our email updates, and invite you to our free session that we offer our students so that you may ask questions and meet us!
